Lough Fun Family Festival

Quoile Yacht Club is hosting an event celebrating just getting out there and having fun on Strangford Lough. Gather up your family and friends and take them for a cruise around the lough. Whilst you are there bring your camera and enter into our fun activities. We don't care whether you sail, motor or row! Phew! Boats of all shapes and sizes welcome to take part. A perfect opportunity to bring out those people who wouldn't be comfortable racing.

Enter your team into our fun Poker race, scavenger hunt and photo comp.

Poker Race - travel round the lough and gather your playing cards from the checkpoints, once back ashore the team with the best hand as governed by the rules of poker wins the prize.

Scavenger hunt - take photos of all our scavenger items to collect points - team with the most points wins

Photo Competition - prizes for the most picturesque photo taken from the lough and for the photo that captures the most amount of boats out on the lough.

One entry covers all 3 events

Keep an eye out on the way back to the Quoile and you might see our junior sailors having a duck chase. Once ashore there will be a crab fishing competition from the jetty, a display of model remote controlled racing yachts and rounded of by an evening Band & BBQ. Music by DICE.

Bar will be open from 5pm with new lower prices

Event details including scavenger hunt list will be sent out to all entrants the evening before so entries need to be in no later than 6pm 29th May.
